Using CarPlay on a golf cart is similar to using it in a regular car. It primarily connects your iPhone via wired or wireless means, allowing you to use navigation, music, calls, and other functions on the cart’s display screen.
Connection Methods
Wired Connection: Use an original Apple Lightning cable. Connect one end to your iPhone and the other end to the cart’s USB port. Unlock your phone and ensure Siri is enabled; pairing will usually happen automatically.
Wireless Connection: Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth. Find the CarPlay connection option on the cart’s central control screen and complete the pairing verification. After the initial connection, it will automatically connect the next time you get in the cart.
Core Functions
After connecting, you can use common iPhone functions on the cart’s display screen:

Adding an Adaptor
If your golf cart’s factory screen doesn’t have CarPlay functionality, you can purchase a corresponding car CarPlay module. These modules are mostly plug-and-play, requiring no replacement of the original screen, and retain the original buttons and screen functions after installation. Some high-end golf cart models come standard with a 10.1-inch multimedia unit and support CarPlay.
